Damn, you ended up paying a fine? WOuld've been so much easier to bribe the TC and get a confirmed seat, no? *am not suggesting that you do anything illegal, but hey, ain't that legalized already? :-))
The TC didn't seem interested in any of that. Actually, I'm just really bad at offering bribes, I don't know the protocol. We were a bunch of four with only one confirmed ticket and since we travelled on the 1st of Jan, the trains wee choc a bloc. So, no luck!
Silly goosewilly things that make days turn into osmotic nights and vice versa. For most part, this is balderdash that only makes sense to me.
