I hope the tea's ready

Our man here can't boast of endless sunrises he's seen, but he sure loves his colours.

This is what inspired me to make this.

Nice but I wish he didn't remind me of Naipul, who, if you haven't guessed already, I don't think of as nice :-)

The work that inspired the piece is also nice. shall leave a comment there as well.

Your pets (were there two?)...maybe you should go back to the site you got them from.Unfortunately I don't remember the name...I hope you do

He reminds you of Naipaul? Interesting... hmm Naipaul's face is more squarish, isn't it? I'm just thinking.
There were two pets. A tiger cub and a pup (I think)! I'll go back to my archives and try and trace them.

You might be right about the shape of Naipaul's face. But, this man makes me think of Naipaul because of his eyes and his moustache.

Didn't you have a frog or a rabbit?

I agree with all the compliments of this piece. It's stunning.

I also like the effect of the framing from the photographing of the picture with the curling edges of the paper and the wood and other things behind the picture.

David~I agree with you on the frame part too!

Thank you, I had nothing in particular in mind when I just put the painting on my table, stood close enough to get a direct clean shot, and put it up. The pink bit in the frame are my pajamas, of course.
